Quit Smoking
Consider this:Already since 1972, over 60 million people in the USA alone have successfully quit smoking! At one stage over 60% of the adult population was addicted to this drug. Today it is 28% and dropping. Now, isn't this a fair thought. If all these people can do it (60 MILLION OF THEM!) - and they include EVERY TYPE of person imaginable - surely that is PROOF that IT IS POSSIBLE to successfully quit smoking. Here's another Fact.We now know from the latest scientific research, that although nicotine is one of the world's fastest acting drugs --- the actual PHYSICAL withdrawal pangs when you give up ARE SO MILD, YOU WILL HARDLY BE AWARE of THEM WHEN YOU STOP.YES, you have read that sentence right!I know you will want to argue with me on this point, but, first, let me first make the following points. The Desire to SmokeYes, when you stop smoking you will feel the desire AGAIN and AGAIN to smoke. We all know that feeling -- 'I must have a cigarette'. But that desire in itself is not bad or painful. It is just a feeling, a sensation we feel in our body.However........this is where, for most of us our problems start. If we start to fear that 'craving' or try to use 'Willpower' to REPRESS it or FORCE it go away, -- "I wish this feeling would go away" we WILL create pain and tension. This is what as smokers we have all done in the past. That 'feeling' of wanting to smoke then becomes painful, annoying and terribly irritating. Now this is the hard part to realize. The pain, the horror does not come from the desire to smoke, but from HOW we deal with this desire, moment-by-moment WHEN we stop. Can I emphasize this. You do not have to experience ANY pain or agony when you stop. Yes, when you stop you WILL experience a.Temporary feeling of lossA feeling that you are being deprived of somethingA feeling of emptinessA feeling that you will never be able to enjoy yourself again.A feeling that you must have a cigaretteThese feelings, although very real in themselves are not inherently bad or painful. What is important is how you deal with these feelings when you QUIT SMOKING.The key part of quitting smoking naturally is learning how to deal with these cravings when you stop.ConflictRight now, you don't want to give up smoking because you are TERRIFIED of how you will FEEL when you can't smoke.Let's be honest. You smoke now because you enjoy it.Or -- to be more accurate: You smoke now because you have conditioned yourself to enjoy it.It is important that we are honest with ourselves here.In fact, even the 'THOUGHT', the mere 'thought' of not been able to smoke probably fills you with complete dread now.But there is another undeniable fact: This 'pleasure' is killing you. Again we must be brutally honest here. Everyday, you are systemically destroying your health. This is the conflict all smokers face.On the one hand, smoking is killing you and you desperately want to stop...And yet on the other hand, you don't really want to stop because you believe you really enjoy it.Yet, one other truth cannot be denied and this applies to every smoker. We are terrified of how we will F-E-E-L when we can't smoke. We are convinced it will be unbearable and impossible.FEARRight now, the ONLY thing -- yes, THE ONLY THING stopping you from quitting smoking is this fear of how YOU WILL FEEL WHEN YOU STOP.And yet this very fear is the actual key to quitting smoking naturally.Quitting smoking is really all about learning HOW to deal with the cravings and feelings you WILL get when you stop. When you learn how to do that - you will realize that there is nothing to fear when you give up.What is there to fear? When you get the craving to smoke, which you will, again and again - - you will now take the OPPORTUNITY to 'change' or 'transform' that craving so that it is actually enjoyable or at least tolerable to experience.Imagine.You have decided to give up smoking. It's dinnertime. You have finished a day's work. You finish your meal and ..... subconsciously, you reach for a cigarette. But then, of course you remember you no longer smoke.Bang! At that moment, certain gut feelings will arise.Feelings of regret........a feeling that you are missing out on something important and then maybe..... terrible feelings of emptiness..... We all know how it feels. But the real question is: How will you deal with this feeling -- this craving to smoke? Will you just suffer it, try to repress it and hope that it will go away? That is one option. The old willpower method.Or will you give in to the feeling -- and start to smoke again (promising to start again tomorrow)?Or will you - - for the first time ever: - - follow our instructions and actually ALLOW yourself to transform the feeling/craving so that it is actually enjoyable or at least pleasant or tolerable enough to experience. You see, when you can do that, you will no longer be AFRAID of these cravings when you stop smoking. In fact, you will start to WELCOME them because they will give you another opportunity to RESPOND and DEAL with them in this NEW WAY.This process is the essence of quitting smoking naturally and finding it a pleasant and life-affirming experience.Weight-loss?Are you now beginning to see how these principles can also apply to losing weight. You see a beautiful cake. You want to eat it....when BANG! -- You remember you are on a diet. Now watch HOW YOU feel when this happens?Couldn't we describe it as.'Feelings of regret........a feeling that you are missing out on something important and then maybe..... terrible feelings of emptiness.Isn't it essentially the same feeling as not being able to smoke? However, the real question is the same with smoking: How will you DEAL with this feeling - this craving to eat? Will you GIVE IN to it -- and eat the cake or will you try and FORCE yourself not to eat it- and be miserable? Why not consider our alternative?Accept this feeling, this desire to eat. But, instead of giving in to it, learn how to deal and respond to it in a NEW way so that you don't MIND experiencing it?Transform the craving so that it is actually enjoyable or very pleasant to experience. The Joy of quitting Smoking?Remember, when you stop - yes, you WILL feel something but there will be no physical agony, only a temporary feeling that you are MISSING OUT on something. A feeling that you are being deprived of something SPECIAL --- but these feelings will ONLY be temporary. However, to quit smoking successfully and to start to enjoy doing it we must go deeper than these temporary cravings. We must realize that:You find it difficult or impossible to stop smoking now because......... you BELIEVE ABSOLUTELY that you NEED to smoke and even deeper, you BELIEVE that if you give up smoking now, your life will never be as ENJOYABLE again. In one sentence: You believe your life will be intolerable. It is these beliefs that makes quitting smoking difficult NOT Nicotine addiction.Right now, you are not only physically addicted to smoking but you are psychologically dependent or addicted to smoking. If your addiction were purely physical wouldn't all these nicotine patches have a 100% success record!Yet, we all know that even if we use a nicotine substitute, we will still continue to feel a terrible desire to smoke.Again and again, we'll feel we must have a cigarette. At times, it will even get to the stage where we just don't care - even the most dire health warnings will have no affect on us - we just WANT to smoke. Where does this desire come from ?It comes from our conditioning, our beliefs about smoking. This moment, we believe that smoking is an essential pleasure. In fact, most of us have a terrible resistance to EVEN thinking about quitting smoking. Why ?Because we believe that in order to do anything about our addiction, i.e. give up smoking -- we would have to end our pleasure and ending pleasure is something we have NO DESIRE to do.YOUR REAL JOBYour real job in giving up smoking lies in REALLY UNDERSTANDING that you don't NEED to smoke. You remove the psychological addiction to smoking. You will never be truly free until you realize that smoking is not a real pleasure and that when you stop, you WILL NOT BE depriving ourselves of a real pleasure....... ......and then you will not only be able to give up smoking for good but you will enjoy doing it!© http://www.quitsmokingonline.com - All Rights Reserved. Is it possible to enjoy, yes ENJOY quitting smoking - and not gain ANY weight? Fake Meat? Are You Serious?
You bet I am! And, with the recipes I provide at
http://www.VegetarianLowCarb.com/Fake-Meat-Are-You-Serious.html,
you (and your family) will be none the wiser, but feel oh so
healthy!!! Read on!
For the low carb vegetarian, meat substitutes are referenced in
the recipes throughout my Living La Vida Low Carb: The
Vegetarian Way Cookbook, which can be found at
http://www.VegetarianLowCarb.com/Fake-Meat-Are-You-Serious.html.
Meat substitutes are often high in protein, low in
carbohydrates, and--believe it or not--quite delicious. I've
created a list of the most popular meat substitutes and briefly
detailed what they are and where the come from, as well as the
basic nutritional value of each and their common uses.
Seitan (Gluten or "Wheat Meat")
Seitan (say-tahn) may very well be a low carb vegetarian
dieter's best friend. Derived from the protein portion of wheat
(gluten), seitan (or wheat gluten or "wheat meat") is a low
sodium, low fat, no cholesterol, and high protein food that
contains almost zero carbs. What more could you ask for in a
meat substitute?
Seitan is considered by many to be a perfect meat substitute. In
fact, some vegetarians complain that its texture is too much
like meat. Seitan can be made from scratch or purchased in many
forms as substitute for beef, chicken, and fish. When buying
commercially-prepared seitan, be sure to check the sodium
content--as it seems to be much higher in these prepared forms.
The good news for you as a cook is that seitan can be prepared
in a countless number of ways, including simmering,
oven-braising, baking, cooking in a pressure cooker, or deep
frying. Of course, if you deep-fry your seitan, it will
instantly jump from zero fat to however much oil it absorbs in
the frying process.
TVP or Veggie Burger
Textured Vegetable Protein (TVP), more commonly known as "veggie
burger," is a high protein, high fiber meat substitute made from
100% soy flour with all the oil extracted. TVP contains nearly
zero carbohydrates and can be used almost anywhere one might
typically find meat within a recipe. TVP is usually very low in
fat, however, be sure to check your label because some forms of
processed TVP do not use defatted soya flour and thus contain
higher fat levels. In addition, TVP can be found either flavored
or unflavored to resemble your preferred meat or be seasoned as
you prefer.
Tofu
Most vegetarians have received their fair share of razzing by
non-vegetarians about eating tofu. Despite the teasing, the
facts remain. First eaten in China over 2000 years ago, tofu--a
cheese-like food made by curdling fresh soymilk--is very high in
protein, has no cholesterol, and contains very few carbs. And,
although fat content is higher than most other meat substitutes,
tofu has only the "good fats." A 4 oz. serving contains only 1.8
net carbs with a whopping 9.1 grams of protein.
Tofu can be prepared in numerous ways, including chilled, in
soups, simmered, and deep-fried. In addition, Tofu is often used
in place of sour cream, yogurt, or mayonnaise in dips, spreads,
and salad dressings.
Tofu is an extremely versatile food, and--if prepared
correctly--you'll discover that even meat eaters will love it!
Tempeh
Tempeh (tehm-pay) is a high fiber food product made from process
of fermenting soybeans with a whole grain such as rice or
millet. People in Indonesia have been eating tempeh for
thousands of years. It is very high in protein, but also higher
in carbs than most other vegetarian meat choices. Because of
this, it is recommended that tempeh only be used in moderation.
Tempeh has a firm, nougat-like texture and has nutty or
mushroom-like taste. In addition, tempeh is a source of many
nutrients such as calcium, B-vitamins, and iron. Tempeh usually
needs to be cooked before eating. It can be steamed or simmered,
and is often used in sandwiches, stews, stir-fries, and
casseroles.
Soya Dairy Products
For lactose intolerant individuals, as well as people seeking
alternatives to dairy products (e.g., vegans and
ovo-vegetarians), soya dairy products offer an excellent
replacement for milk and cream in many dishes. Soya dairy
products--created from soya beans or soya flour--have lower fat
content, lower proportion of saturated fat, and no cholesterol
as compared to regular "full fat" milk. With low carbs and
quality protein, soya dairy products are perfect for the low
carb vegetarian. Many commercially-available brands are
fortified with minerals and vitamins, including calcium,
vitamin-D2, vitamin-B12, and vitamin-B2. As an alternative to
butter, soya oil and margarine products are also available.

The Seven Steps To Finding a Great Domain Name
The most important step in starting your online presence is the selection of your domain name. While this task can appear difficult, you can find a great domain name as long as you take your time and follow a logical process. A great domain name is one that is short enough to be easy to remember, easy to spell correctly, and memorable. This will be your online brand, so take your time and use our tools and you'll soon have your own great domain name. We offer a seven step process for you to follow to get the best name available for your web site.1.) Start with a list of names that immediately come to mind that you would like to have. If you already have an existing business, group or club name - put it on the list. Many of your first choices may not be available, but keep them on your list for now. Fortunately, there are now more Top Level Domain (TLD) alternatives such as .net, .biz, .us, .org or .info. The ".Biz" extension is still new, but will become more popular in time. Another alternate is to use the extensions that were made for some of the smaller countries such as ".cc" (Cocos Islands), or ".tv" (Tuvalu).2.) When registering a domain name, use a company that offers free online tools to generate ideas for names. Start by searching for one of your top names or keywords. If the name is not available, you will get a list of recommended alternative names including other extensions, dashes and popular prefixes and suffixes. This can be a great source of ideas and can save you considerable time if you are looking for a very competitive phrase.3.) Use Keyword rich domain names - Assemble a list of action keywords that can serve as a domain name or use a combination of keywords (example: killbugsfast.com). Choosing the right combination of keywords can help in your marketing efforts - both online and offline.4.) Prefixes - One popular approach is to add a prefix in the beginning of a more generic name, as in eToys.com or eGreetings.com. Additional common prefixes to consider are e, z, my, and Ez.5.) Suffixes - If you have an existing business, this can be very effective. Two good extensions are Online and Direct ( ex: MerrilLynchDirect.com). The more powerful your brand is, the more effective this option can be.6.) Consider adding a Dash. Some names can be very effective with the use of a dash. If the website is primarily to be found via search engines, then the dash can be used very well. For search engine purposes, you can use a number of keywords separated by dashes. For most businesses, we recommend that you limit the use of dashes (no more than one), as you should use the address on your business cards, in your email signature and all of your advertising campaigns.7.) Creative combination words - Get creative and use action words that can be partially combined to create a new word. Brainstorm by using a combination of your sites keywords. A great example of this is a senior care provider named Evergive.Remember this will be your brand, so take your time, make a complete list, Follow these seven steps and you should have a list of names to choose a great domain name.To get an idea of good keywords, we recommend an online tool that was created by Digital Point Solutions and can be located at the following link:

Positive Experiences Come Back 10 Fold
How many times have you needed to call for a service such as carpet cleaning? Mechanic service? How about a more serious issue such as a flood service?Did you find that looking through the phone book just doesn't give enough info and searching online pops up to many unreliable, irrelevant leads? Either way, I personally find it hard at times to find quality, fast reliable service. For instance, I thought word of mouth was the best way to get what I am looking for. So I talked to a friend when my car broke down. "Sure" she said, I know just the place. After agreeing to pay a ridiculous price for a fast turn around, I thought money talks, right? Not in this case, 2 weeks later my car is still in the shop and the price has doubled.Well after explaining that I found the part myself for half the price they were charging, I would just have it towed to my location to fix it myself. I am quite handy and knew how to fix the problem, but I was going to pay so that I would not be under the hood when I needed to be out working. Trouble is I work from that vehicle and after 2 weeks you can get pretty hungry with no income. After the manager found out that I was taking my vehicle, they cut the price in half and I agreed to let them try again. We will see how that turns out. The point that I would like to make is that I see it all to often. I see companies take on more work than they can handle or put the same person on the back burner over and over again. I am a victim of that and it feels terrible. Do you think I will send them any biz? When I started my company Moore Services in 1997, I knew that word of mouth is the most respected advertisement and I wanted just that, a respected name that my customers could count on. From the first day of business, and even now my goal is to build a solid customer base of repeat satisfied customers. Now I have pride knowing that I still have many of my first customers all because of situations that had a negative impact on me. What I mean by that is, I knew I didn't like to be ripped off or taken advantage of and I sure don't want a single one of my customers to feel that way either.Sometimes you just need a fast response and hope for the best after making one phone call. I spend each day making sure that all of my customers feel that calling me is in fact that one call they can trust time and again with out a doubt if they need me. If you or a friend run a company, remind yourself of the frustrations you deal with and turn the situation around to make positive impressions and experiences for your customers. They will thank you 10 fold I promise. Try to confront every frustration as a new learning experience share a smile knowing that you would never do that to a friend or a customer. For every bad day you have, make someone else's day a good day by giving them a no hassle experience. Remember, it comes back 10 fold maybe even 20 if they have that many friends and relatives. From 1 to 10 to 100 to 1000. Now that is a lot of happy customers from just 1 happy customer. Just imagine if you gave that one person a negative experience.Anthony Moore

Safety when using a Chain Saw.
Chain saws give an individual great power. They can make one person capable of chopping down a giant tree, probably hundreds of years old, within a short period of time. And within a day, that felled giant could be small pieces of wood for the fireplace. With such power, safety is an important issue -- for the one using the chain saw, as well as to the people around him.
As with any machine or appliance, the number one rule for safety in the use of chain saws is: Read the instructions! Don"t try to figure things out yourself. Know all you can about the machine. The manual is there to give us all the knowledge we would need on the use of the chain saw. It also gives us the safest way to use the chain saw, as well as description of the chain saw parts, maintenance and repair guidelines. If any repair or maintenance procedure required is not in the manual, then bring your chain saw to a qualified service center.
It is recommended that the chain saw must be periodically returned to the service center for inspection and service, such as chain saw sharpening and adjustment. Its important to keep the cutting teeth sharp and with a good biting edge. This will make the chain saw more efficient, but also cut down on fatigue. It is dangerous to operate a chain saw that is damaged or not adjusted properly. For replacement of chain saw parts, it is recommended that one use parts specifically made for the model on hand.
With the chain saw, one acquires great power. And as it is said, with great power comes great responsibility. Part of that responsibility is safety. Knowing how to operate the chain saw, and how to keep it functioning properly, go a long way in assuring safety.
